These are links that I frequent, mention in my articles, or just have found to be fun or helpful:

1. My absolute favorite - www.bulldogsworld.com feel free to visit the site, review their references, ask questions in the forums, etc. This is a wonderful community, and even though the site is dedicated to bulldogs, no one will refuse to help out an animal in need, so if you need help or info, and do not know where to turn, they are always willing to share their knowledge. Plus the wonderful community is comprised of many individuals who have knowledge of other breeds, and can provide suggestions of where to go for breed specific help or rescue, I can't say enough good things, I just loves these guys!

2. Animal Poison Control Center - www.aspca.org/apcc 1(888)426-4435 I have used this hotline before, and they are great. They are open 24/7, and on all holidays. Just be ready with a credit card, because they charge a fee in order to fund the hotline. The fee is about $50 if I remember correctly, but it is way less expensive than visiting an ER vet in the middle of the night to find out your puppy swallowed something harmless.

3. A great place for mail order High Quality food - www.heartypet.com I have ordered food from here, their shipping is fair, and they never overcharge. They have great deals and coupons, so check often.

4. A great site for a great cause! Check it out -  http://pitbullwalk.com/home.php You can even get a free web-based email address. It's a great cause, so check it out, and see if there's a walk group where you live, and if not, maybe you can start one!

 5. Pit Bull Rescue Central- http://www.pbrc.net/faq.html A great site with tons of info about Pit Bulls, Pit bull rescue, adopting a rescue, surrendering a dog and many other topics. If you have a pit bull or are thinking of getting one, this is a great place to read up on your breed.

6. Another informative site: http://www.realpitbull.com/ - This site has a lot of great info and resources, and for any NJ locals, they offer training classes, and host special events.
